Another great story set in Diamond Creek, Alaska. These stories make you want to visit Alaska - and I don't like the cold!! This story is about the police chief. All the men in Diamond Creek are yummy, yummy heroes. Well all except one guy and he wound up in jail in another city. But, all the rest are good guys and great heroes. Now this hero was a cop in Seattle when tragedy hit. It was so bad that it sent him back home to Alaska where things moved at a much slower pace. He is very happy (or so he thinks) living the life of a bachelor and not getting close to the opposite sex. He has a problem that he just doesn't believe any woman would want to deal with.

that is until the heroine comes along. Visiting her brother from her home in anchorage, she is driving to Diamond Creek when a mother moose and her two babies appear in the road. Swerving to miss them, she runs off the road and stops in a group of trees. The first one to the scene is, you guessed it, our hero, the police chief. There is instant chemistry as they get her out of the damaged car.

There is LOTS of hot sex, humor, soul searching and HEA in this story. It is a very entertaining read and I definitely recommend it. All of these books are stand alone with HEA. A good read.

SPOILER - just a note. I found a lot of errors in the first part of the book. She when it should have been he. then she removed her shoes as she walks in the apartment, goes to the back of the house and returns, sits down and takes off her shoes again!! Then the name Ethan was used when I think it was suppose to be Eric. I have read several of these stories and didn't see the number of mistakes that this one had. So much so that it did get my attention. It did distract from the story a little bit in places but one just has to go back and read it over again to get it right. One last thing, I just didn't get why the heroine thought she was so unworthy. She was a successful career woman, attractive, good sense of humor, obviously pretty and sexy. So she wasn't a brain surgeon but her "issue" seemed a little over the top.

I have read and enjoyed this book. Since I have been to Alaska, I recognize many of the places described in the story. The characters are believable and the plot is well developed.
This book is about two peoples that don't want to show their weakness but they have So Much Chemistry Between each other I really enjoyed this book
I really enjoyed the way the story starts out with a bit of a bang only to continue with many more bangs throughout the book. I also love how it seems that the whole series seemed to be worked straight up to this book and these two characters. Their attraction to each other was felt in each page I read and the way everything started to get blown up just a bit before confessions finally happened.
After reading and enjoying the other books in this series, I liked the meeting of these two characters that played supporting roles in other books. Darren is the type of guy that is always there for everyone else, and Risa is a woman that underestimates herself and what she deserves. Their chemistry is almost too good for their relationship. This was another good installment in the series.
So many of these books are the same....hot man, tall, solid as a rock, cop, SEALs, etc .....no flaws blah blah blah. Chapter 15 and I have been sick of the story for at least 9 chapters. Screw screw screw jeeeez where is the plot. Guess all these "love" stories are all the same. Just a reason to write about hard dicks, wet crotches, sucking this twat of that cock blah.....go get some sex from your hubby and write something exciting to read!!!!
Rizza is an art store manager in Anchorage Alaska and has just broken up with her boyfriend after finding out he was having an affair with her best friend the whole time he was with her. She does not have a good history where men are concerned. She goes to Diamond Creek, Alaska to visit her brother and his family when she has an accident and totals her car and needs to be rescued. First on the scene is Chief of Police Darren . He is hot and there is mutual attraction by both from the start. Darren has his own baggage when it comes to relationships.
I have read most of the books in the Diamond Creek series and have enjoyed them all. Tumble into Love is a gentle love story between two wounded souls who fear rejection and are afraid of committing themselves to their new relationship. Darren is the first responding officer when Risa goes off the side of the road, crashing her car, and their attraction is instantaneous. Even though both Darren and Risa are aware of the explosive sexual attraction between them, they are afraid of allowing themselves to explore the true nature of their relationship. With the gentle prodding of good friends and family they slowly move towards the point of acceptance. Circumstances force them to review their attraction for one another, enabling them to make the necessary decisions. Living under the microscope of a small town population makes it that much harder to resolve their issues, as they aware that the moment their affair becomes public, it is open season for gossip. A most enjoyable, uncomplicated read.
