I Received this book free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion. I have to say that I have been looking forward to this book from the moment I read the excerpt in the last book. For the first time, we have two shifters coming together. The two books before paired a shifter with a human. However, I expected there to be more focus on the characters in their mountain lion shapes. Even though there wasn't, it did not disappoint me enough to affect my rating. As with her other books, this one had strong female characters. Even though Lily is an introvert and a virgin, she still goes after what she wants and in the process comes out of her shell. I really enjoyed watching her become who she really wants to be. And Noah, what can I say about Noah! I want him! The description of Noah paired with her presentation of him in the book makes him every woman's dream, well at least my dream anyway! The "romance" between Noah and Lily is steamy and seriously HOT! I am glad that after 3 books the situation with the drug dealers has been resolved. Well at least in Catamount. I also liked that the characters from the previous books showed up a little bit more in this book. Especially since that was one of the things I requested from reading her previous books. I am curious as to how the next book will come together since the drug situation seems to have been resolved. As usual, I have nothing bad to say about her books. Fated Mate by J.H. Croix is another five star read for me. I am so hooked on this series, I can't wait to read the next book and I am in love with shifter books now. The characters are so likeable, Noah is tall dark and handsome and Lily is sexy smart and reserve, they are so hot together.
I highly recommend this series to every romance reader.

The third book in this series is just as great as the other two. We learn about Lily and Noah. They are two lonely souls that has no experience in love. They fall hard and fast for each other but Lily has problems accepting them being together. Meanwhile Noah is helping Jake and the others bring down the drug ring trying to make its way to Catamount.
Such a good story and the characters are so easy to love. Looking forward to book 4!!!!!
Given to me for an honest review. Ms Croix gives a short description of the previous happenings so you won't be wondering what is going on. Lily has a flat tire. Noah is drives by and offers help. Noah came back home to help his mother. He never paid much attention to Lily when they were in school. Now both of them have a interesting feeling when they are close. With the problems in Catamount, no one knows who to trust. Lily thinks she can trust Noah. Will they act on the feelings they have? Will Noah and the other men be able to stop the drug smuggling in Catamount?
Fated Mate is the third book in the Catamount Lion Shifters, a series that gets better with each book. I really like the strong, protective atmosphere and familiar characters continue to be part of the riveting plot which includes suspense, action, adventure and great romance. This story featured two shifters - Lily North, an introverted computer programmer and sexy, mysterious Noah Jasper, a former special ops Marine who returns to Catamount to take care of his ailing mother. Their chemistry was so hot and sizzling, it jumped off the page. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see what would happen next. It left me wanting more Catamount shifter stories, so I can hardly wait for book four.
This is the third book of the Catamount Shifter series with Lily and Noah's story. Lily is a computer programmer that sometimes works with her brother Jake, they are from founding families of Catamount and are very respected in the community. Lily is having trouble dealing with being a shifter with everything that has been going on since Callens death and betrayal. Noah Jasper had come home to help his sick mom after being in the military's Special Forces. Noah is a loner type because off his childhood and abusive father and now due to his Uncle Theo's involvement in the snuggling operation. A chance encounter where Noah helps Lily and things start to sizzle. Each of them have issues to work through so they can be together but they don't give up.
I love that you get to see characters from previous books and catch up on them. The mystery continues but some things get settled. The characters are great and deal with real issues and its also sizzling hot.
